Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy    

My name is Wayne Huthmaker and I'm the CEO and Founder of PRINTinZ. I've worked in manufacturing for over 20 years and I have seen countless manufacturing processes work extremely well, but I've never seen one work flawlessly. Just like your 3D printing process runs astray sometimes, so does filament extruding, printer plate laminating or any other manufacturing process. I sell quality products and print successfully with them all the time, but no one can claim to provide perfect results 100% of the time.

But I will guarantee that I'll do what I can to make you happy with your purchase.

PRINTinZ Plate or Skin Issues?

If you received the wrong item, please notify us within 15 days. (Use the returns process below.) Printer Surfaces must be like new and unused. As soon as we verify the error through an inventory count, we will ship you the correct item immediately if it is available.  We will  then send you a free return shipping label to return the incorrect item. 

If you are having poor results with our print surfaces, please contact us for help by emailing support@printinz.com or check the website for new information. There is lots of information on our website to help you understand how to manage print adhesion or remove prints.  If you damage the plate because of misuse, experimentation or modification then we cannot accept a return.  If you contact us with problems please include the following info to get the quickest response: Plate size, printer model, heated bed or not, material printed (ABS, PLA, etc.) and photos if possible. Photos really help us to help you.

Defective filament? 

Since problems with 3D printing may result from many causes (bad material, machine set-up, environmental factors, etc.), We'd like the chance to inspect any filament that created a problem for you before issuing credit. Within 30 days of receipt, process the return from your account page as described in the section below.

United States Customers:

Upon receipt and inspection, we will issue you a store credit for the filament (excluding original shipping costs), plus give you free shipping on the replacement order. We will also email you a free return shipping label!

International Customers:

Upon receipt and inspection, we will issue you a store credit for the filament (excluding original shipping costs), plus give you free shipping on the replacement order. International customers must return items at your expense.

Changed your mind? 

You may return new, unopened items (the filament polybag must not have been opened) within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Just process the return through your account page as described below and we will email you instructions on where to ship it. Upon receipt, you will be issued store credit for the full amount of the purchased item(s), but not for the original shipping cost. There is no restocking fee, but return shipping is at your expense.

Received the wrong item? (Warning: Items are packed by actual humans.)

If you received the wrong item, please notify us within 15 days. (Use the returns process below.) As soon as we verify the error through an inventory count, we will ship you the correct item via 2nd day shipping.  We will  then send you a free return shipping label to return the incorrect item (which we know you will kindly do because you're a nice person). 

One last thing…

Business reputations are won and lost in user forums and social media. If you have any problems with our products or service, please be kind enough to first email us and give us a chance to make you happy. Your business is important and we want you to be satisfied.

How to process a return…it's really simple!

1.     Go the My Accounts page (Login)
2.     Click the "Completed Orders" link on the Manage My Accounts menu
3.     Find the order in the list
4.     Click the green "Return Items" button
5.     Indicate the quantity being returned
6.     Fill in the required info. The more detail the better.
7.     Submit the request.

Watch for a confirmation email immediately and a response email with instructions within 24 hours (usually faster).


Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.  Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. 

In the shopping cart, you will be presented with various shipping options based on the weight of the product(s) you have selected and the destination. Please allow 3-4 weeks delivery for First Class International Package shipments, 2 weeks for Priority Mail International and 1 week for Priortiy Mail International Express. Note that additional time may be required to process the shipment through your country's customs process.
