ABS Filament for 3D Printing

Please note that we ship filament to the United States only at this time. We can not accept international filament orders. Sorry for any inconvenience.

ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a commonly used thermoplastic and is not biodegradable. It is lightweight, tough and impact resistant. It is less brittle than PLA, but more heat resistant. ABS is amorphous and therefore has no true melting point, however 230°C is the standard for printing. ABS creates mild, tolerable fumes while being extruded. These fumes, while usually tolerable, may be dangerous for people (or pet birds) with chemical sensitivities or breathing difficulties. Make sure that your printer is in a well-ventilated area and make sure to avoid breathing the fumes.

ABS is hygroscopic (prone to absorbing moisture), which will affect it's print quality. PRINTinZ ABS is produced in South Florida and we have developed a proprietary process to make our ABS less susceptible to the effects of humidity. In addition, all spools are vacuum sealed in a plastic sleeve.  Once opened, store it in a cool, dry place.

Our ABS is extruded in the USA from 100% virgin raw materials. We guarantee that all of our filaments are 1.75mm in diameter with a tolerance of (+/-) 0.05mm and a roundness tolerance of 5%
